Frequently Asked Questions About Spinal Flow®
Who can benefit from Spinal Flow?
Spinal Flow® is suitable for everyone—people of all ages and stages of life. Because it is so gentle, there are no medical restrictions. As the founder says, if you have a spine, you can benefit from Spinal Flow®!
What happens during a Spinal Flow session?
After an initial assessment, sessions typically last around 30 minutes. You’ll lie comfortably face down, accompanied by soothing music, while I use gentle touch along your head and spine. We won’t talk during the session—this time is for you to deeply connect with your body, allowing it to breathe and move naturally.
How will I feel during a session?
Everyone’s experience is unique, but many people notice:
Deep relaxation
Emotional release
Easier, deeper breathing
Spontaneous movements or ‘releases’
Sleepiness
Changes in body temperature
Laughter, tears, visions, or new insights
Each session can feel different, even for the same person.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of sessions depends on your goals and how much stress your body is holding. Some people come for simple relaxation, others for deeper healing. Your body’s innate intelligence guides the process—it may release tension quickly or need more time.
Most find it helpful to start with frequent sessions over a few weeks (for example, 12 sessions, 3 or 4 times per week), then reduce to maintenance sessions as your body balances.
What can I expect after a session?
Many people feel deeply relaxed and lighter after a session. Sometimes symptoms may temporarily feel stronger as your body clears layers of tension—this is a natural part of the healing process.
What should I wear?
Comfort is key! Loose, thin joggers or comfortable clothing work best. Avoid jeans, tight fitness wear, or anything with thick seams.
